HeyBuddy Outdoors is a kids' outdoor gear rental library for Atlanta families. You pick a plan, tell us what your kids are into, and we deliver the right gear to your door — clean, sized right, and ready for the weekend. When they outgrow it or want something new, we swap it out. No buying. No storing. No guilt.

Every plan includes warm-season and cold-season swaps - when the calendar turns, your gear library turns with it. If your kid hits a growth spurt, our Right Size Guarantee covers a free swap to the right fit. Need additional swaps beyond what's included? Add them for a small fee, or upgrade to Trailblazer for unlimited swaps year-round.

Our core focus is kids ages 5-10 - the sweet spot where they're growing fast, trying new activities, and outgrowing gear every season. We size and curate everything for that range, from beginner setups to step-up rigs as they get more serious.

We carry camping & hiking gear, fishing & fly fishing setups, biking, archery, field sports, hockey, golf, and spectator gear (sideline chairs, canopies, coolers). If it helps kids get outside, we're adding it to the gear library.

Yes. No contracts, no penalties, no hard feelings. If HeyBuddy Outdoors isn't working for your family, you can cancel anytime. We just ask that you return any outstanding gear in good condition.

That happens - and we love it. If your family finds a piece of gear they can't live without, just let us know and we'll work out a purchase option. The rental library is designed to help your kid discover what they love, and when they find it, we make it easy to keep.

Kids are kids - we get it. Normal wear and tear is completely covered. If something gets genuinely destroyed (we're talking serious damage, not a muddy jacket), we'll handle it case by case and keep it reasonable. We're not here to charge you surprise fees. We just ask that you treat the gear the way you'd treat a friend's - with a little care, not perfection.

All gear we send out is safety-checked, properly sized, and age-appropriate. That said, outdoor adventures carry inherent risk — and that's part of the point. We're happy to advise on gear fit and activity readiness. For any activity-specific safety questions, we recommend connecting with a local guide or instructor. We're gear people, not liability lawyers — and we want your kids to have real adventures.
